Setup: Your Organization and Brand
A quick guide on how configure your organization and brand details under your organization's profile
How to Set Up Your Organization Profile in Avid
One of the first steps in setting up your Avid account is creating your Organization Profile. This ensures that Avid has the right details about your nonprofit, helping you maximize features like Avid Benchmarks and Playbooks to generate better insights and creative assets.
Step 1: Access Your Organization Profile
-
Click the gear icon on the left to open Settings.
-
At the top, select Profile.
Step 2: Customize Your Organization Details
In the Profile section, you can update key information, including:
-
Logo & Organization Name – Ensure branding consistency.
-
Vertical – Helps Avid provide relevant benchmarking insights.
-
Website URL & Domain – Connects your organization’s online presence.
-
Brand Colors – Ensures Avid-generated content aligns with your visual identity.
Step 3: Define Your Mission & Value Proposition
Go beyond basic details and enrich your profile with:
-
Mission Statement – Clearly define your nonprofit’s purpose.
-
Value Proposition – Answer the critical donor question: Why should I give to you instead of another organization—or at all?
-
Style Guide Notes – Include preferred language, tone, and key phrases.
Step 4: Add Donor Personas
Understanding your donors is crucial for effective fundraising. Use this section to document:
-
Key Donor Personas – Profiles of typical supporters.
-
Giving Motivations – Why donors choose to give, based on A/B testing, surveys, or research.
Why This Matters
