Creating Audiences from Reports Using Avid's Pathways Tool
One of the most efficient ways to create an audience is directly from the Insights tool while analyzing your reports. If a particular segment stands out—such as reactivated donors—you can quickly save that audience and push it to your marketing platforms with just a few clicks.
Identifying Key Audiences from Reports

Navigate to the Overall Program Performance Report (or any other report inside Avid’s Insights tool).

As you review your data, pay attention to key segments that stand out.

For example, if you notice a spike in reactivated donors, you might decide to run a targeted campaign to keep them engaged and ensure long-term retention.
Exploring a Segment in Depth

Hover over the chart or segment that interests you.

Click the Explore button to refine all the charts on the page based on that specific segment.

Scroll to the top of the page to view the selected donor segment in the header.
Saving and Pushing an Audience
Once you’ve refined your view, you have two immediate actions available:
Option 1: Save the Audience for Future Use

Click the Save Audience button to store this segment inside your Pathways tool for future targeting.
Option 2: Push the Audience to an External Platform

Click Push Audience.

Assign a name to the audience.

Click Confirm and select the Pathway (e.g., Facebook Ads, email platform, CRM).

Click Review and Confirm to finalize the audience push.
